We've got quite the list to get through in our own specific order, but we still want to know: what do you hope to see us restore next?
The restoration of our P-63A-7 Kingcobra is comple The restoration of our P-63A-7 Kingcobra is complete! She took off on her first test flight in 40 years earlier this morning! It was a spectacular morning and we wanted to share just a bit of this amazing moment with you all. Thanks for all your support in helping us restore and maintain these beautiful aircraft! More to come soon.
The Hawker Siddeley Harrier proved that runways — The Hawker Siddeley Harrier proved that runways — and even traditional dogfighting rules — were optional.

During the Falklands War, RAF Harrier GR3s and Royal Navy Sea Harriers launched from small carriers and rough forward strips, providing close air support and defending the fleet.

But their biggest advantage wasn’t just vertical takeoff — it was their missiles.

Armed with the new AIM-9L Sidewinder, Harrier pilots could lock onto enemy aircraft from almost any direction — even head-on.

Combined with the Harrier’s ability to maneuver at low speeds and operate from anywhere, it gave British pilots a decisive edge in the skies.

Vertical takeoff. All-aspect missiles. A fighter that changed the outcome of the war.

Did you know the A-4 Skyhawk is the lightest and s Did you know the A-4 Skyhawk is the lightest and smallest jet fighter ever built by the United States? Designed as a single-engine, single-seat attack aircraft, it proved that bigger wasn’t always better.
Originally conceived as a successor to Mr. Heinemann’s AD Skyraider, the A-4 was built to counter the growing trend of larger, more expensive aircraft. The result? A compact, carrier-capable jet that delivered serious performance from both land bases and aircraft carriers.
Simple. Lightweight. Effective. The A-4 became one of the most iconic attack jets of its era.

This is our Grumman G-21A (JRF) Goose. In the 1930 This is our Grumman G-21A (JRF) Goose. In the 1930s the elite of Manhattan and Long Island, New York required an aircraft that would provide them amphibious transport into the city. Grumman was commissioned to build the G-21 “Goose” to suit their needs. This was Grumman’s first monoplane to fly, its first twin-engine aircraft, and its first aircraft to serve with a commercial airline.

This Goose in particular has a rich local history providing transport service for not only food and supplies, but also residents, celebrities, and tourists to Santa Catalina Island (Avalon). This G-21 was one of the seven Avalon Air Transport (later Catalina Airlines) Goose fleet, founded by Dick Probert.

Thanks for the video @rc.planedaily!

Turns out Casey was only 89.9% correct about his own strategy for closing out that wing. Luckily we've got some of the best and most experienced people on our teams! Watch Jack here teach him how it's done 😎
